#1 Build Genuine Connections With The “Know, Like, Trust Factor’

When you’re creating content for Instagram, always keep the ‘know, like, and trust factor’ in mind. Every time you create Reels, Stories, Carousels, or any other content for your Instagram, you want to make sure that you are doing one of the following:

KNOW: Letting your followers get to know you through your content. Show off your personality so that they feel a real connection with you and they genuinely like hearing what you have to say.

LIKE: When you show up as YOURSELF on Instagram & you’re genuine, your followers will notice. This helps them admire & like you, which is essential in building real connections with your community. 

TRUST: You want your audience to look at you as an authority & someone they can come to for education and advice. Your posts should build trust with them if you’re wanting to make real and lasting connection with the people who are following you.

When you create content that helps people get to ‘know, like, and trust’ you, it’s so much easier to generate leads. People need to feel connected to you in order to buy from you, and these three things will help them see your business as something that is valuable enough for them to buy from you. 

#2 Post Reels To Increase your Reach

Part of generating leads on Instagram is reaching new people you can talk to about your business, your products, or your services.

When it comes to broadening your reach, Reels are the #1 type of content you need to be creating. Especially if you take advantage of trending audio so that you have the potential to be seen by even more people! 

Instagram is prioritizing Reels and they’re going to push out your Reels to a much larger audience vs. any of the other type of content you make on Instagram. Reels have a much longer life than any other type of content, too. IG continues to show your Reel to new people weeks after you post. 

Creating Reels is a great way to increase your reach annnnnd to consistently generate leads.

#3 Sell In Your Stories For More DM’s

One of the best ways to consistently generate leads on Instagram is to use your Stories. I talk about this in my Soul Social monthly membership & teach my students how to use Stories to get qualified leads DM’ing them every single day.

The key is to lead with problems & solutions—instead of talking directly about your products or services. 

Don’t focus on the details or a description of your business. Don’t go in & start talking about what’s included when someone buys from you.

Instead, you want to offer your products or services as a solution to something that your audience is struggling with. 

Post a series of lead generating graphics in your Stories where you ask questions or include a poll. Include things that your audience might be experiencing & let them know that you are there to talk to them about a solution! This is a powerful way to connect with leads who are interested in learning more about how you can serve them.
