With the holidays right around the corner, the calendar is filling up and the \u2018to-do\u2019 list is getting longer every day. It\u2019s easy to get distracted and lose momentum this time of year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s why I think it\u2019s important to carve out time for your business and make sure you are set up for success during this busy season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you ever considered why<\/em><\/strong> you want to show up on Instagram? I mean, reeealllllly considered what\u2019s motivating you to show your face and talk to your audience every single day? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I sat down and asked myself that question, I realized that for me, showing up on Instagram has nothing to do with numbers. I don\u2019t show up because I want to see 1,000 new followers, because I want my posts to go viral & get a million views, or because I want bragging rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why do I show up on Instagram? <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I show up because I want to serve you<\/em><\/strong>. I\u2019m on Instagram talking to an amazing audience of female entrepreneurs because I want to inspire women to believe in themselves & help them achieve all of their business goals. I show up because I want to help you<\/em><\/strong> figure out what\u2019s holding you back from seeing the results you want & because I want to give you<\/em><\/strong> the tools you need to see success! And you know what, once I realized that serving you<\/em><\/strong> is why I\u2019m on Instagram, I started seeing so much growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, friend, if you\u2019re feeling frustrated, like you\u2019re just not getting anywhere, my challenge to you is this: figure out why you want to show up.<\/em><\/strong> And once you do that, it\u2019s SO much easier to continue to show up & to start seeing the growth you\u2019re hoping for. Especially when you use my tips & tricks.

And that\u2019s why I\u2019ve put together a road map just for you. It includes everything I do each & every time I post on IG. When you use this checklist, it\u2019s SO simple to create incredible posts that will help you continue to show up on Instagram.

Here\u2019s what you should be doing if you want to keep showing up on IG:<\/p>\n\n\n

Post Consistently! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s important to show up, & not just in your stories. Make sure you upload to your feed often enough to build trust & loyalty with your IG audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You should be showing up in your stories daily with at least 5-7 slides & posting to your feed at least 3-4 times a week. But, what\u2019s important is that you stick to a schedule so that your audience knows when they\u2019re going to hear from you!   <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Find Your Niche.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re trying to talk to everybody<\/em>, you\u2019re actually talking to nobody<\/em>! Instead, stick to a specific niche to reach people who are as excited about your business as you are.

To find your niche, figure out what your superpower is & what sets you apart for your audience. Think about who you serve & how you can solve their problems. The more specific you get, the better!  Here are some questions that can help you figure out who your people are: Who could you talk to for 20 minutes with no notes? What would you talk about to those people about? What topics feel natural to you?       <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Give Value.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not enough for your posts to be pretty or fit an \u2018aesthetic.\u2019 They should educate, inspire, & entertain your audience. Why? Because it helps your audience get to know you, like you, & trust you enough to buy from you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Educate your audience with how-to\u2019s (<\/em>like this<\/em><\/a>), a hack they will love (<\/em>like this<\/em><\/a>) & a tutorial (<\/em>like this<\/em><\/a>). Entertain your audience by using viral trends (<\/em>like this<\/em><\/a>), niche humor (<\/em>like this<\/em><\/a>) & showcasing YOU and your brand\u2019s personality (<\/em>like this<\/em><\/a>). Inspire your audience with a before & after (<\/em>like this<\/em><\/a>) and how you got _____ result (<\/em>like this<\/em><\/a>).   <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Reels, Reels, Reels! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t underestimate the impact of creating Reels. They\u2019re SO important for growth on IG in 2022 and that\u2019s because Instagram is prioritizing creators who make Reels. Plus they\u2019re THE best way to hook new customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reels are such an amazing tool to help you grow. Do these three things every time you post a Reel if you want serious engagement: 1: Have a clear headline. 2: Use bright lighting. 3: Entertain your audience. <\/em>Here\u2019s a Reel of mine that went viral.<\/em><\/a>  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Have A Call To Action.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You should include a clear call to action with every\u2026single\u2026post. You want your people to comment, like, follow, subscribe, check out your website, & more. But, they won\u2019t do any of that if you don\u2019t ask them to!

Here are some of my favorite calls to action: Save this post for later! (<\/em>like this<\/em><\/a>), Follow for more tips (<\/em>like this<\/em><\/a>), Tag a friend below (<\/em>like this<\/em><\/a>), Let me know your opinion below (<\/em>like this<\/em><\/a>).      <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Level Up Your Bio.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure you have an Instagram bio that reflects you and your business. I call this the billboard bio. It should advertise the value you provide for your audience and what they can expect when they show up to your account. \u2028\u2028

Here are the three things your BIO needs: 1: Make your profile picture YOU. 2: Tell people how you serve them & why they should follow you. 3: Call people to action with a link to a free resource that is helpful to your audience.\u2028   <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Stay Social.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t forget that social media is SOCIAL. Interact with your audience, comment on posts you love, and share stories that you know your followers will also love.
